Rolling bearing know-how 6 - Load Distribution/Speeds - for technicians - Online

Content
Even if rolling bearings are made of hardened steel, their components are also subject to corresponding deformations and displacements. This has an impact on the loads on the individual rolling elements. Depending on which forces are in which combination and where they act, the size and also the location of the load zones is influenced.
In rolling bearing technology, we have 3 different speeds. The limit speed, the thermal reference speed and the thermally permissible operating speed. What is behind it and where are you needed?
This training module is intended to provide answers to these questions.
Learning objectives
- Load distribution, shifting, deflection
- Load angle
- Speeds, definitions, applications
- Calculation of a thermally permissible operating speed
